This is Caleb playing dress up with my heels and a t-shirt. Oops! :) He was so proud of himself (again) and didn't want to get undressed to go to Mrs. Paula's house (his beloved sitter). "No! My russ! My russ Wah-wah's house!" ("No, my dress! My dress to Paula's house!") :)

And, here he is on his first day of preschool. He didn't want to turn and look at me because he was too busy admiring himself in the mirror. He's holding my purse and his back pack that is holding his big truck and cars (ie, "bat bat and wee wah"). He was fine at preschool--he wanted me to carry him in, but once we got in the building, he just trotted right in to Emily's room (one of my best friends here is his preschool teacher) and never even looked back! I stood at the door way and cried. :)

I thought I'd attached more pictures of Matthew sitting up (another first!), but for some reason they may not have come through...

great post, Kak.
Oh, my dear cousin!
His first day of preschool sounds purely amazing, and infinitely sad all at the same time. They grow up so fast, and they keep going further and further away. What a beautiful post.
Love, Cousin Tim
