These are our pictures of our time at the beach, about a mile from their house. It was their first time, and for the most part, they loved the sand.. the water was a little chilly for this time of year, but it was perfect for hopping in and cooling off.
We made a little pool for Matthew, and he was happy as a clam (literally!). He just played in the sand-pool, and Caleb, my aunt Lydia (who is pretty cool; you can see her pouring water in the sand-pool) and I just played around right next to the boys while John took a long walk. It was relaxing just to chill in the sun and sand.

Looks like a lot of fun. Glad you guys took advantage of being close to vacation spot.
You did a 5-hour trip on the spur of the moment with two little guys, twice in 24 hours? You go down in my book of heroes!! Crazy kids -- but how nice that you did that. Enjoyed seeing pics of you all at the beach. Enjoy every moment with your little guys that you can -- they grow up so quickly, and you're building precious memories.

we decided to go on Thursday.
We left on Friday.
We came back on Saturday. :)
We definitely aren't heroes.. maybe a little crazy, though! :)
